Fighters for Peace won first place in the 2023 conflict prevention and peacebuilding awards by Fondation Ghazal and Fondation de France, with Adyan Foundation taking second place. The winners were announced at Saint Joseph University on April 13, 2024, in a ceremony attended by civil society leaders, media representatives, students, and Acting Minister of Information Ziad Makari. Michel Ghazal, President of Fondation Ghazal, presented the awards, praising Fighters for Peace for promoting reconciliation and showing that “disagreements do not require violence”.
