Our Programs

Lebanon’s landscape holds the stories of its past, and Fighters for Peace Walking Tours turn these historic sites into spaces for reflection and dialogue. Guided by ex-combatants from opposing sides, the tours offer first-hand perspectives that bring wartime history to life and show how reconciliation is possible even in once-divided communities.

Fighters for Peace currently offers three main routes, including the former Green Line in Beirut and the Mountain Tour through sites such as Radar Hill, Souk El-Gharb, and Baysour. Visitors can also use the Greenline App, where ex-combatants share interviews and reflections about the places they once fought in, adding deeper context to the experience.

More than historical excursions, these tours foster empathy, understanding, and connection among participants from different backgrounds. By walking through landscapes marked by conflict and hearing the stories behind them, visitors engage with Lebanon’s past in a meaningful and transformative way.
